I called USCIS just to check the status of my application and I was informed that my case officer ordered a background check for my application on the 18th of may 2021. my PD is January 22 and my service center is Texas. what does this mean?

Aside from receiving a letter that your biometric has been waived what else did you receive? also what do you mean by PD?

The only letter I received was the letter my biometrics was waived on April 2nd. PD means the day USCIS received my application.

Woke up Friday morning to this glorious news and update. I bless God and appreciate this forum. Only took 6 months for me to get approved with no interview and No RFE.

Hi

I have the same issue with my i-824 application ending in "received by chase". I wonder what applicants with the same problem did to fix it.

It seems from posts nothing was done to fix it. The application got processed.

There's no need to fix anything. It's the right address.
