My combo card arrived today! Mailed by USCIS on April 15, 2021. Waiting for SSN to arrive.

I’m glad that I tried to expedite my I-765. I’m following the case number before me and his/her case is still at Fingerprints were taken since his/her bio. He/She did bio 2 weeks earlier than me but his/her case still stuck at fingerprints were taken.

Good luck guys! If you think you can do something on your case, don’t be afraid to try.

I’m happy & contented with the combo card at the moment 😂 as our marriage will be 2 years in July 2021. Looking forward to the 10yr GC rather than going through another painful & stressful process in the next 2 years.

Hi! Congrats!!! Is your case family based? I keep trying to expedite my case to trigger biometrics but the agent never lets me without biometrics first 😩

Yes, it’s family based.

Try to request via emma (early morning). The agent that filed my first request didn’t asked me if I already did my bio. She just asked the reason for expedite request.

Our PD is 12/22/20 and we’ve had nothing except receipts so far. No bio appointments or anything. It’s so discouraging.

Hang in there!

What’s your field office & service center?

Bio really depends on your ASC. Some ASC are still in May-June filers. You can try to ask expedite request via emma as it triggers the bio appointment (this is based on what I heard from a lot of people). Well it works for some, just try whatever you can do.

UPDATE!!

Hey! I know this is a December only group but I would like to share my timeline with you all. I tried to send everything on December 2020 and I think it got lost because I never received a confirmation from USCIS or the LockBox so I sent it again on January the 4th 2021.

Our journey so far for concurrent filing of I-130 & I-485 with I-765 & I-131:

Current Visa: B2

ASC: Baltimore, MD

Priority Date: 01/07/2021

2021

01/04/2021: Sent packet via USPS

01/07/2021: Chicago Lockbox received the packet

01/13/2021: Received text messages for all forms (I-130, I-765, I-131, I-485) and CC charged for $1225.00 and $535.00

01/15/2021: Received all letters in the mail and used I-485 to get a drivers license at the MVA. (worked just fine)

01/30/2021: Received Biometrics appointment letter for 02/26/2021

02/26/2021: Biometrics done and case was updated to "Show fingerprints were taken".

04/27/2021: EAD and AP approved. New card is being produced. SAME DAY.

04/28/2021: Deficiency for I693.

Very fast!! Hang in there guys

Hope this will help all of you.

Hi all,

I hope you're keeping sane through this!

I just wanted to update you on my progress.  Still no EAD or AP after having my bio appt in February.  But, despite moving to a different state and expecting a delay from that, my i-485 status changed to "interview scheduled" today!  Fingers crossed that it's scheduled in the state!

I don't know what USCIS are doing but I've heard of a lot of people recently who went straight to interview and never got their EAD.

Hi all,

I just wanted to share some good news / update on my case. We had our AOS interview yesterday at Chicago Office and have been verbally approved. It was short interview (10 min max). Waiting for case status to get updated.

Excellent news… what a relief! Let us know how soon it gets updated and then when you receive it please.

I have my interview in two weeks and really looking forward to working again soon. 🤞

Congratulations! I’m glad that December filers’ cases are moving quick.
