I-130 processed chechs

Hello guys, 

I haved filled a petition for my spouse and son and it was received on Jan 4th 2021 and the two checks of 535$ each were processed on Jan 12th 2021.

My question is about the notification as i still did not receive any notification untill this moment either on email nor in my messages despite that the checks have been processed successfully. Also if it is possible i need to know the expected time line for these notifications and what if i didn't receive any.

I assume you filed paper I-130s.  You will likely just receive  paper I-797s indicating receipt and a receipt number indicating which service center is processing each case.  That is what happened in our case.  It could take as much as a few weeks.

So cashing the check doesn't indicate that my case has been registered in to the system yet, is that what you mean? In other words cashing the check is just the start and means that we are on the right track and we just have to wait, am i right?

Correct.  They always process the check before sending the receipt notice since a petition will not be accepted without proper payment.
