No kidding. I crossed Dec 14 and got my green card right away like @Dbrennan but still no SSN. And I need the SSN more than the green card right now.

I crossed December 15 and I received neither the GC nor the SSN yet.

DQ May 22

Interview Feb 8, 8:45

I'm admittedly freaking out at how little time I've got to get everything together, especially since I'm still recovering from Covid.

Any recommendations for how close to the appt I can push the medical?

I def get what you're going through. I'm recovering from covid (no longer in quarantine) while in the U.S. and I now need a negative test to fly back into Canada. The medical takes 5-10 business days to get to the consulate (from my understanding) so ideally you'd want to get it done asap, but worst case, the'll deny you and until they receive it. TBH, i was expecting to only get the medical done right before or even after my interview given the circumstances, but hopefully I have time now.

Good luck with everything.

medical exams that did not arrive at the consulate on time, how has that affected your case?  Did they simply give you and RFE, or was it more serious than that.

It isn't an RFE; it's a 221(g) and all you need do is wait for the exam's arrival.

Then they finish processing the visa and return your passport.

It's a[nother] delay.

I received IL for February 17th. DQ was May 29th.

Unfortunately, it's sort of an anti-climax for me as I'm considering rescheduling due to planned medical treatment (not COVID related). 😟

Has anyone tried to reschedule recently? What was the wait time?

Thank you!

Congrats to everyone who got their IL.

We are DQ'd on June 3rd. Haha. Seems like we may have missed the cut off by a day.....

Oh no...but hang in there. That doesn't change much for you because if you had received the letter this month then you would have gotten interview for end of Feb most likely. And now you will be the first one to get the letter in Feb, so you will have your interview beginning of March. Good luck. I am trying to think it this way, if it helps you feel any better :)
