I am in the same boat as you and I am also worried about the same thing. We were DQ September 2 and I am also outside of Canada right now during the pandemic. Before I was praying for my interview to be as soon as possible but now given Canadas new restrictions until April 30, I am praying that it wont be too soon because I dont even know how I would get to Canada right now! Looking at the timelines, it seems UNLIKELY that our interview will be scheduled before April 30. What do you guys think

Idk hawk rider has us that are dq in September to be expecting letters in April

I saw this but its a ?. @Hawk Riders what do you think?

The estimate is just based on the last few months numbers. It is in no way guaranteed. Could be shorter, (unlikely) but it could also be a lot longer. You have to make the best decision you can. No one else can or should try and predict the future for you here. Too many variables. But based on our knowledge it is fairly reasonable that you could have an interview in April.

Hello Everyone

New month and hopefully we get some more good news with IL's. Just wondering I have a Police certificate from Canada which says Privacy Act Request Type: Other which was accepted by NVC and I believe the new terminology is Criminal Check for Personal Use. Should I get the certificate changed or leave it as it is. Let me know if someone has any experience with using the police certificate with old terminology. Thank you!

I wonder the same thing, I don’t know if it has to be the new terminology on one if the old one expired or if people have to go get the new one even if their old one is still good. Hopefully, someone does know!

I know they expire after 1 year, I have the old style but it hasn't passed the 1 year mark yet so wondering also if that would be accepted or if the new one should be acquired regardless.

Same with us. I think ours expires in May and we could possibly, HOPEFULLY interview in April- so I am unsure if we should go ahead and renew or wait and see it we get lucky!

Leave it as is if it hasn’t expired.

Note that the month listed in the spreadsheet is a projection for when you would receive your interview letter. The actual interview would be the following month (so likely May in this case).

Yikes, just got two emails from Air Canada rescheduling my Montreal flights.  Mini heart attack as I read "Flight AC000 has changed and you have been rebooked" but while my new flights are at crappier times and with connections, they're on the same days.
