Adding on to my review earlier they did review our paper  tax transcript and W2. My husband gave both 2018 and 2019. He kept one of the W2 🤦‍♀️

Overall, my husband had very good experience at both medical and interview. Medical was done on Jan 21st and sent to embassy on Jan 26th morning.

I will be doing my medical with Dr. Cheema as well in a couple months when I get my interview letter. What all did you have to bring with you when you went? I had heard you need to bring a copy of your medical records and passport pictures with you but with covid I’m wondering if they’re still requiring you to bring in all the paperwork and physical passport pictures.

They give you a document with a list of  everything you need when you book your medical. Medical records are required for specific things. They take your picture there so no you don't need passport pictures (although I brought some just in case). Basically what I needed was vaccine records, passport and another picture ID (I just updated my drivers license so I didn't have a 2nd picture ID and they accepted two government ID's with no pictures in my case) and the interview letter. That was it. I didn't really have any medical records I needed to bring though so other people may have more stuff than I.

Checked vision, breathing, and asked me some medical history questions. Overall very quick and painless. Took about 5 minutes.

I had a similar experience with Dr. Cheema, he was really nice and the actual exam was super quick. He was more interested in whether he knew any of my family because my last name seemed familiar to him (we're both Punjabi). I also got one of the letters wrong during the vision test but he responded with "very good, let's go into the exam room." 😂

Update on my medical for folks completing their medical in BC: I completed my exam with Dr. Cheema in Surrey on January 20th and my results were sent to the consulate on January 26th at 6:00AM, which leaves 4 business days before my interview on February 1st. I'll share an update on whether the consulate received my medical in time for my interview.

Anyone know how long I need to book myself for Dr Mascharenas & testing? I have my appt with him on Feb 1st at 1pm, but have a work meeting at 4pm. I'm hopeful I can make it back home in time (I'm a 15 min drive from there).

Anyone else with an upcoming interview massively worried about potential interprovincial quarantine requirements? I'm already in quarantine in BC for another week after returning from the US, and 13 days from my flight to Montreal. 13 days of worrying that some travel restrictions are going to be slapped down, and I don't reckon that traveling for a visa interview will be considered essential. I'm sorry, I don't mean to wind anyone else up, and I should really stay away from the news for a while, but I don't want to miss anything I might need to do (eg testing requirement or something).

I am wondering about this as well, as I am hoping to receive an IL next month as some people with similar dates have received their IL already.

Hi everyone!

I read on a government website to call if you haven’t received your SSN within 3 weeks of entering the US. I called the number and waited on hold for 30 mins and the woman told me I would have to go into my local SS office (which is in another city) for an interview? I tried to explain to her that I was pretty sure I didn’t have to do that, that I should just get my SSN sent to my house but she just repeated the same thing. I’m confused now haha. I live in California and I entered the US with my IR1 on January 2, already received my physical green card also!

The agent is correct; review the 'after POE' section of the FAQ!

@Hawk Riders have you registered for Informed Delivery with USPS? Kid2’s GC looks to be in the mail...not because I can see it on myUSCIS, but because I can see the mailing label was created in my USPS account!

Hey guys, question about submitting documents to CEAC. I needed to get a new police certificate because my old one expired in January. Yesterday I uploaded it in the "Optional Documents" section in CEAC so that it would be in there ahead of the interview (because recently I saw someone in this thread went on AP because they had a new police certificate they needed to upload, even though they brought it to the interview). Just today, though, I realized that there's also a button "Submit Documents" next to the section where you upload them.

Can someone tell me, do I need to also click "Submit Documents" after I've uploaded them? What does this do? Our attorney uploaded the documents at the NVC stage so I'm not as familiar.
