I will second this, as much as I vehemently dislike the travel restrictions Canada has continued to maintain for so long, people should be following the quarantine process. Remember, spousal exceptions only came in three months after the border closure after extensive campaigning, I would hate to see the government clamp down on it after US spouses were caught breaking quarantine. In better news, they are at least talking about a border reopening now, but it looks like it'll be a few months yet.

Yes, please dont break the law. If you choose to visit, please follow all requirements. For me personally, having my wife in the same house (even in another room) is much worth than being apart. But, to each their own. Good luck!

Does anyone here know, how much visiting is too much if the petitioner claims to be domiciled in the U.S.? We are planning for my wife to visit me 9-10 days every month. Would spending 33% of your time in Canada after claiming domicile in the U.S. is too much? Can the CO deny the visa for this? I am sure some cross border couples spend every Friday - Sunday in Canada....

How is she going to quarantine?  She has to be on her own during these 14 days.

One needs to have a quarantine plan. We are both young so we can stay in separate rooms in the same house. There are no vulnerable people in the house. One has to provide all these details to a CBSA/quarantine officer at the border and they have to approve in order for you to be granted entry and continue with your quarantine plan.

It's only Sunday afternoon and I'm already stressed and anxious about interview letters this coming week. I so hope Monday brings the relief we all deserve. My nerves can't handle much more of this! 😭

My wife and I are feeling the same 🥺😭

When I entered, the agent was asking to make sure I would be alone (I was).  Rules might have changed since I visited.  Can't wait to go back / well, back and forth freely.

Is anyone else having a hard time accessing CEAC? I can’t get in at all. Is this an omen?

Also I just found this out the other day- am I making it up or did we get knocked down a tier? This was released on April 30 so…they probably had to redo a bunch of scheduling for us if K and CR/IR are on the same level.

No it’s the same. They just bumped up very few adoptions. If some one is adopting an older kid they don’t want them to have to wait till they are aged out of the system and bumped into another class or the child is taken out of foster care. I can agree 100% with that.
