I mean, there was also December? I don't remember the consulate being so awful for interview numbers back then and there was Xmas Day Boxing Day and New Years Day then? They got quite a few out in the November batch if I recall.

I don’t want to say it but.... I got an ungodly feeling they will only be doing k1 next month

Well apparently London hasn't issued their appointments for June yet either. So it's not too late.

Honestly if Montreal are only doing K1 next month, I'm transferring my case to London as I'm at the end of my tether with playing their ridiculous games. I don't even care at this point if it takes longer, London is more predictable. I'm a planner type of person and uncertainty is driving me up the wall.

Yeah...that part gets on my nerves. I'm fortunate in that I work remote, so if I need to go back to the UK for a month my company will make it work. My boss is aware of my visa application and he promised he'd do what he can to make sure that I can make it work. But yeah, not everyone is so fortunate to have an understanding boss or to be able to work remote.

This is where I'm at. I don't know if my job will work with me with time off with it being the summer holidays. 😭 This is honestly horrible.

So true! I was explaining to my mum (she wants to be able to come with me) that depending on when we're scheduled I may have to leave the week after next. I am fortunate that my boss is understanding and has guaranteed me time off regardless of how short notice I give her. Not everyone can do that

I think the numbers will be as bad as last month and I’m gunna go cry.

I really hope that's not the case 😔 I got unlucky with the i130 process, it took almost 12 months to get DQd. From the spreadsheet and how things were speeding up, it seemed like the max I would wait is 8 months for the interview. I don't know what I'll do if it's much longer than that :( Why do we have to put our lives on pause for a process that has the potential to go much faster? My friend is going through the spousal immigration process but for another country, and received her visa in 3 months. The American immigration system needs some real reform, I wish no one had to go through this. Sorry for the mini rant, I hope everyone is still able to enjoy their day and weekend 💔

On the upside, running by your timeline if you enter the US after June 30th you won't have to file for Removal of Conditions. I know that isn't much solace right now but it's a massive headache you are being saved from. :)

Ah, I see your DQ date is quite late, so you're basically guaranteed your IR1 classification. Sorry that your case has dragged on so long, it really isn't fair. x.x

That's true, thank you for reminding me! It does makes me feel better from time to time 😂

I wouldn’t hold out hope, but the work day isn’t over so it’s not impossible. But it looks like we are most likely to get a horrible weekend full of anxiety and restlessness.
