We should start including a physical description of our interviewer in our interview recaps to figure out how many there are :P Imagine one of us walking in and complimenting their interviewer on their haircut because we know what the 3-5 people interviewing us generally look like haha.

Years ago we did this. It was helpful as a certain IO seemed to always place ppl into AP. Also was not the friendliest either.

Oh yeah, I think I remember people talking about that on here. Were they stuck in AP for ages or was it brief? Hopefully they're not still there lol!

It definitely was not a short AP.

By now they probably are not but who knows.

Hey all, currently at the dmv trying to get my Tennessee drivers license. I’m supposed to have an 1-94 number apparently that they need to submit my information. I don’t remember ever having this, but I’m guessing it’s something when I crossed the border? Anyone who knows anything about I-94 numbers and if I can access mine online somehow? Thanks in advance!

Furthermore, I’ve checked to find my visitor history on uscis and it says there is not travel information available for me, even though I flew to the States a month ago...

You automatically get an updated I-94 each time you cross the boarder by air (I have printed 2 of them). From my understanding it is not tracked by land. You get it from CBP online I believe. I will see if I can remember where exactly to find it later tonight.

I-94s are relevant to visitor status, not immigrant status. Show DMV your IV to establish your current and ongoing legal presence in the US--or your green card if you've received it yet!

Furthermore, it appears travel history gets evaporated after you immigrate. CAN Hawk Rider also now has no listed travel history...

For sure, Green Card holders cannot hold a valid form I-94 as those are for nonimmigrant admissions only, therefore the I-94 online site will no longer work. Green Card holders should not use an I-94 to obtain a DL.

Protip, if you need your CBP travel history you can submit a FOI request to the CBP to get it at https://foiaonline.gov/foiaonline/action/public/home

Added (a slightly adjusted version of) this to the FAQ! My I-94 also disappeared and I figured it had to do with immigrating, but I was surprised my previous history wasn't still available.

So, I don't want to get people's hopes up too much, but there is a reason to be hopeful about tomorrow being IL day. In both March and April they sent out IL's on the Second Friday of the month and tomorrow is that day. I'm wondering/hoping that the Consulate will establish this as the day each month they send them out.

It would be soooo nice to have the weekend to celebrate getting our interviews, right? xD

Welcome to the Montreal Consulate! Where everything is made up and the points don’t matter…but we sure hope it does!

I’m DQ’d 9/9 and already have PTSD from being on the cusp of last month’s IL and anxiously waiting this round. Now this made me laugh so hard, I really needed it.
