Will there be ILs tomorrow? Hopefully.

Fingers crossed, won’t be much notice for some people if they don’t send them out tomorrow...

Is it pretty quick to get medical appointment in Montreal usually?

Not sure. I’m flying into Toronto for business on the 20th and was hoping since I’m there I could do my medical that’s banking on interview letters being sent out sooner than later

The 18+ month suspense is really getting to me. All this uncertainty cannot be too healthy. I really hope we get IL's tomorrow. Gonna be refreshing everything all morning!!

So any one else here pre packing before the big date? I know I’m still 6 month out but I want to be ready!

I have shipped out small boxes of my stuff that I can’t use where I live right now, but otherwise I just have a list of what I’m shipping vs what I’m taking on the plane with me. It makes me sad sometimes, but at the same time when I had to accept there would be no movement for 6 months+ and put my suitcases into storage, that really broke my heart t’be most. I am trying to be more optimistic than not but it’s really hard- I’m /so/ close. After last month being so small, I don’t think I’ll get in until June so I’m really just going to try and look forward to that and tell myself it’s only another 30 days and it’s okay to be hopeful  ᕦ(ò_óˇ)ᕤ

@Mikeeastern it is not healthy at all- stress has very real long term effects on the body and I need this to be over. It literally makes me sick sometimes 😞💔

I been slowly going threw all my stuff on weekends. It’s  helping me keep sane lol. My husband sends me photos of our fur babies every days as well as FaceTime . There going to be 1 soon and I haven’t met them yet.

In April 9th there were already many IL's recieved by now. I think IL's will only come next week.

I was thinking the same thing. Really won't leave much time between when ILs go out and the 1st week of interviews

This year so far letters have been sent on

Jan 18 - Monday

February 4 - Thursday

March 12 - Friday

April 9 - Friday

January gave the first interviewer 13 days to prepare... give me 10 days and I’ll make it work lol

True. I'm thinking we may be in the second week of June for our Interviews. I know I would like to plan to stay in Montreal for at least 10 days, to get medical done before the interview.

I’m from Alberta but I’ve been in Ontario for a little while. Flying back to Alberta on the 21st and was hoping I could do my medical in Toronto then. Fly to Alberta for a couple weeks then straight to Montreal, pick up my passport somewhere there and rent a car to drive to Maine. Fingers crossed that plan works out 🤦‍♂️

That would be awesome for you if you can get it done while in Ontario. Much more "cost friendly" than Montreal too ;) Before Ontario went into another lockdown I was hoping to fly into Toronto and have my medical done, visit with family and then drive to Montreal and fly back to BC after the interview.

Ah, wish I had seen this before posting my own post! Must keep in mind to check these big threads for updates to things like ILs. :) If they haven't been sent today (since I assume if they would be going out today, they already would have gone out?) then what day potentially next week could we receive?
