right! but looking at past rounds it seems like they were all sent out on the same say

If you look on the 2019 sheet, there were certain times when they had split ILs over two days. It seems really rare though.

The situation changes so frequently that extrapolating future moves by the consulate is very difficult. That being said, here's a few facts to consider (info from the spreadsheet):

  • The January round of letters (for Feb interviews) was sent to 24 VJers
  • The February round of letters was sent to 28 VJers
  • The March round of letters was sent to 23 VJers

Obviously not all interviewees are on the forums, but I think it's safe to assume that the monthly variance in percentage of interviewees who are VJers is less than +/- 10%.

Extrapolating from past data, if the consulate sends out 22 letters to VJers this month, that would mean that all VJers with DQ dates in September 2020 will get an interview letter this round. Things may have changed this month with the relaxing of restrictions on visa issuances, but I think that's a reasonable forecast for folks who are wondering. For folks who are near that cutoff (currently row 163 on the spreadsheet) it can be stressful, but if your DQ date is in early September or late October than you should be able to draw some conclusions with a fairly high degree of confidence.

Hope that helps!

Row 163 checking in here. YES, THIS IS ALL THE STRESS OMG. XD I've been going over and over the data working out the trends and what to expect and came to the same conclusions as you. Here's hoping!

Right there with you, I'm just 2 above you ;) On the phone with hubbins currently. He is calming me down ;) Stress levels are high

I must say, finding this page has been very helpful. The doc that @Hawk Riders has prepared for us has helped immensely! Also each member here that takes the time to read/respond each others posts, and offer help, words of encouragement, basic support of each other has made this last bit of my journey so much easier!!!

Thank you!!!! I have on my timeline DQ Sept 5 that is for me not my son. My son was DQ Sept 17. So very funny that I was DQ  before him but he got his interview letter out first, very strange.  I think they deal with kids cases in a different way than adults. That is all I could think of.

I am right after your son with my DQ being Sep 18. But, I think the sent the ILs based on your DQ date, not your

son's. Thanks for letting us know. Please keep us updated. Good luck to you both!!

The latest DQ date for this round so far seems Sep 5 and interview was scheduled on May 19.

Still wondering what is going to happen to us who DQd in between mid and late Sep.

Fingers crossed for all of those who anxiously waiting.

In the faq it is stated that if the month isn’t filled up that they aren’t finished sending letters. So here’s to hoping the rest of us hear something early next week. Nice anxiety filled weekend lol

I think they are done sending out letters sadly. With the covid cases going crazy right now they are really going to be limiting the amount of ppl. Also check USA visa data they do around 100-150 visas a month. They have also been slowing down since feb

How about people whose children received ILs, but they themselves haven't? I think they will received theirs on Monday. Could that mean we still have hope?

I think we should expect next month. If it comes Monday then great but I'm afraid to hope and be disappointed. Better not to have any expectations.

You also have to remember those are 2 for 1. Which makes more room for others. 2 interviews 1 time slot
