Nothing yet over here, DQ Sept. 23rd. Do they flow out through the day or come out all at once?

I'm wondering the same thing. From what I remember from the last few months it was throughout the day. I'm dq 9/19 and want to know if I should just give up till next month or hold on to some shred of hope.

To be honest, the latest Interview day I've seen on here is May 17th, so that should mean that there are more slots to be filled.

Hello everyone,

I got my interview date for my son who is 14 years old, for May 19. I usually get his papers first, I hope they give me the same date with him.

Should I call them now and ask for same day interview or wait till I get my letter?

Is this the right number to call the Montreal US Consulate?

514-398-9695

thank you guys!!!

This is common. You'll get your interview letter likely Monday (since it's a Friday) and it will be for the same date/time as your son. No need to contact them unless you haven't heard anything by Tuesday or Wednesday.

Is this one on the FAQ's?  I know it's not a super common thing as there aren't tons of people who immigrate with their kids, but it has been asked a few times and most of us that have done it with kids seem to drop off after the green card is in hand!

I had the medical check yesterday at Dr. Zatzman's office in Vaughan, ON.  Meeting was very quick and easy, X-ray was in and out.  Bloodwork/urine took a little time due to lineup, but overall pretty easy experience.  I just realized today though that I had an Everything Bagel that had some poppyseeds on it about 24hrs before my tests - will this cause a problem for my results?  My understanding is these tests are looking for STDs that could be brought into the USA.  Am I in trouble??  So worried about problems at this late stage!

Got my answer regarding the second part (Fees are paid only after receiving the visa)

For the first part I would like some confirmation just for my peace of mind if everyone gets  the "Completing Immigrant Visa Applications By Mail" document handed out.

I feel like you got lost in the shuffle here and I wish I could help you out but I never received that letter and have no idea what it is.. anyone else??

Thank you  Prairiegirl3! but I think they hand it to everyone just to provide the link where we can access the status of the visa, shipping info, mailing address etc. The message on the letter is a bit misleading because it mentions that we need to provide more documents but it's not actually the case for those who got the welcome letter as well it's just to provide the ais-visainfo link.

Not giving up hope yet. It has been eerily quiet today seeing as some letters have been sent out. Looks to me that they have only been sent to family’s with children immigrating so fingers crossed more come today or Monday... 🤞

It would be helpful if anyone who is DQ'ed before September 5th who hasn't received their IL letter yet chime in. The consulate without fail has never left 'gaps' on the sheet.

Oh interesting! Well that makes sense why I had no idea how to check my visa status until I asked on here, because I didn't receive a letter. Glad you got it figured out!

Hey everyone, congrats on getting your IL! I am one of the lucky people but due to my circumstances I may be forced to reschedule my interview 😢
Has anyone besides @Emilini gone through the process of rescheduling ? If so, please kindly msg me or reply.
Also, what would happen if the medical results are not ready in time for the interview?
Thank you in advance for the responses.
