I wouldn't want to say anything is impossible but by the current trends that they have been interviewing that you should get a letter in June or July so long as the Consulate doesn't pull any silly buggers. I'm DQ Sept 23rd so it's a flip of a coin whether I get one this month. xD

Please see @Hawk Riders's sheet, it's been very helpful. Link

I'm 9/19. Waiting in suspense for the IL's to come. We are also on the egde maybe this month and maybe next.

It's been painful to see the ILs slowly go down that spreadsheet over the last 6 months and being right at the edge of the cutoff is like ARGH. I'd just like a date just to have some level of certainty. xD

Congrats on your approval! I am so freaking happy for you. You were worried about birth certificate for no reason at all. And to think you were considering rescheduling your interview because of it. Can you remind me what you did for the domicile - did you sign a lease or use a housing arrangement letter from a relative?

Thank you so much. Hope you get your interview soon too. Things have been hectic lately. My husband received his passport about a week after interview and we are leaving tomorrow morning to land him.. just driving to NY, booked a beach house, super excited. We go there for a month or so until there are lockdowns here in Ontario :) and then get back, sell house and wrap up. All the best to you and everyone.

Regarding domicile, I just gave him my recent job that I started in San Francisco last month, my at&t u.s. phone bill, u.s. bank stmnts. But the visa officer didn't ask him for any documents..so it was really easy. Let me know if I can help you with any further questions on domicile.

Take care,

I had the medical check yesterday at Dr. Zatzman's office in Vaughan, ON.  Meeting was very quick and easy, X-ray was in and out.  Bloodwork/urine took a little time due to lineup, but overall pretty easy experience.  I just realized today though that I had an Everything Bagel that had some poppyseeds on it about 24hrs before my tests - will this cause a problem for my results?  My understanding is these tests are looking for STDs that could be brought into the USA.  Am I in trouble??  So worried about problems at this late stage!

There are 4 diseases listed that may make you inadmissible into the USA and they are

tuberculosis, syphilis, gonorrhoea, and leprosy. I’m not too sure if a small amount of poppyseed from and anything bagel will show up on a toxicology report. Good luck on the home stretch!

Nothing yet over here, DQ Sept. 23rd. Do they flow out through the day or come out all at once?
