Have you guys heard of missing criminal record? I got mine done through RCMP exactly 4 weeks ago.

I got a number to call in Ottawa of real time identification services but they are "currently closed". I got an email that bounces back as undeliverable....Any thoughts? I'm starting to loose my hope (patience is long gone) as CC is the last piece missing in my NVC. Has anyone been in that situation before? How long does it usually take?

Re-do. Contact the place which printed you (if it was recent they still have prints on file) and specify you need a

"Criminal Record Check for Personal Use, type: Other."

Please see this tab on the spreadsheet https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1LvnDvX95_tfWtTvsJJM49PDPPvPKal0WG2rgdZHhsz0/edit#gid=1591174570

Yes, many couples have visited for 6mos.

Would you happen to know how to contact them? The email RCMP gave me bounces back as undeliverable and phone number automated answer says they are closed :(......nevermid....found it :)

Hey everybody

I was wondering if someone here lives or lived in Montreal, and went to Dynacare to take a PCR COVID test. I wanted to know how long did it take for them to give your results back.

Their website says 48h, but it might be just for them to be safe.

Do you need the PCR test for travelling to the US? I had my covid test taken at the Montral airport YUL just before my flight. They will advise you to be at the airport 3.5hrs before your flight. The result is ready in 20minutes. This test is accepted by US airlines. I paid $149 and you need to book an appointment.

Hi Folks,

Wondering if anyone of IR1/CR1 applicants started dating his/her spouse online before getting married. It's my case and we were living in Canada together after marriage for a year (now she is in the US for work). I am just wondering if they ask anything special during the interview (chat history, communication etc) for couples who dated online first.

Asking because that could be overwhelming to bring to the interview (I have over 3600 of chat pages)

Thanks!

The interview is basically to verify what you’ve submitted is correct. It’s USCIS’s job to verify your relationship is legitimate before sending you to NVC. If you’ve made it to the interview, they’ll ask you some questions, but nothing too bad. Honestly, go look at the reviews for the Montréal consulate...you’ll see the questions and that they are pretty similar and the types of questions you should be able to answer without hesitation.

After being married almost three years, and starting this process in August of 2018, my visa finally got issued last week. I am crossing by land on the 16th, and I have a couple of questions, if anyone can help, would be great.

1. Am I required to bring a detailed list of everything that I have in the vehicle?

2. Anything else, other than the visa package, medical, and obviously my passport with visa, that I am meant to bring.

I am aware of the green card processing fee, so don't need to know about that.

Thanks.

Actually, nevermind the question, I just called CBP, and they gave me all the info I needed to know. Didn't think it would be that easy to get through to them. Cheers.

I met my husband playing WoW . I think as long as we have pictures, plus I am planning to print out our Facebook timeline that shows when we became friend, when we changed that to dating, engaged and them finally married that should be enough proof imo. We have well over 9k emails alone but I won't be printing those out, lol

lol yeah that is not feasible. I submitted the facebook stuff to USCIS in the beginning kinda lazy to do it again for the interview lol but maybe I should.

We did as well. My husband doesn't think I will need to bring it, but I would rather have it and not need it, than need it and not have it

Like someone above said, that would have been required for the USCIS stage not the interview. Based on peoples descriptions of the interview, it doesnt seem common practice for them to ask for that at the interview stage.

How is everyone taking their money across? I know you can take less than 10,000 without claiming it. But how do you take it all in whole?

Pertaining to this question: is anyone on here also planning on keeping their Canadian bank account after crossing and moving
