Visa status “Ready”

Hi there, just had a question for anyone who might have the answer. So I’m assuming our k1 visa made it to Montreal? And from my understanding there are two “ ready” statuses. Well in the description it states that I could schedule my interview now or wait until they schedule it for me?
At this time, should I still be waiting for the packet 3? Or just go ahead and email the checklist to the Embassy? E8971DA9-D763-46FA-9CF5-57ACAB1F511A.thumb.png.09033642208bffe225d72008aeea52ea.png

What do you mean? I read those threads all the time, but a lot of people were sending their checklist and what not and the embassy isn’t doing anything about it.

Then the embassy is not processing if they aren't "doing anything about it". Stay in engaged with others in your sub-forum for the best information from others. Montreal requires their checklist be sent back then they will send the P4 with other instructions. If you get ahead of the game, they will shut, you down. Montreal is sticky about their process. Theirs is much different than others. Good luck and stay engaged in the process.

Okay thank you. I was just reading your good drive on “ Tips, Tricks, and Hacks”, and you said the DS160 is a “stand alone” document. So it would be okay for me to complete that form right? Without anything messing up.

That's what it means. Keep in mind that the DS-160, Online Nonimmigrant Visa Application document needs to be accurate for the interview so completing it now and having something change may constitute you to either update it at the interview or create an entire new DS-160, Online Nonimmigrant Visa Application for the interview.
