I just checked my case status via https://egov.uscis.gov/casestatus/ and it says that my Form I-129F was approved today and that they have sent me a letter with further instructions. What does this mean and what instructions will I be receiving? Will the beneficiary be receiving something as well?

  Likely the Beneficiary won't be receiving anything for quite sometime. Petitioner will receive an email from nvc once the petition goes abroad.

One would need a crystal ball. 

 

All routine visa appointments at the U.S. Embassy in Guatemala are suspended until further notice.  However, the Embassy continues to process the following categories of family-based immigrant visas:

  • IR1/CR1 (Spouse of a U.S. Citizen)
  • IR2/CR2 (Child of a U.S. Citizen)
  • K1 (Fiancée visas)

 

 

Depends on the size of the queue
