There has been so much in the news about Trump inciting sedation and what not.  I support him on many issues but do not support his behavior. 

 

Anyway here is what he actually said. Tell me how how this incited a riot.

I know that everyone here will soon be marching over to the Capitol building to peacefully and patriotically make your voices heard. I sometimes wish I had been sedated for the past five years. I used to prefer Klonopin but Valium's not bad either.

Now, you are incorrectly putting words in my mouth.......Can you deny that Pelosi and her ilk have given the impeachment much greater priority than aiding the American people????  These people are nuts!!!

When you're old enough to remember them kicking up dust and all this scummy indignation over Russia conspiracies and the super secret dog whistles to white supremacists (that only the left and their amazing Trump decoder could decipher), which Democrats embarrassingly introduced articles of impeachment for on more than one occasion. It's simply pathological. There is serious stuff wrong with these people.

At this rate impeachment is a badge of honor.

Negativity sells with news, but weirdly with movies it's all about happy endings. Personally I prefer the other way around: I love dramas and tragic films would prefer if the news were more upbeat and positive. He might be a schuckster but his advice there is pretty on point given how things are right now. I constantly have to calm my mother down because she's addicted to the news and thinks the end of civilization here in the US is imminent.

I've never read the book but I'm a big fan of director David Lean. The real tragedy is that critics panned Dr Zhivago so hard when it came out that he became so depressed by the negative reviews that he didn't make another movie for years.
