Waited 2.5 years since original I-130 filing and embassy is going with delay over delay. Close to the endline, but not there yet.

Obviously embassy is not gonna expedite for emotional hardship.

Knew it was a one way ticket when we married i.e Benefiacry moves to Petitioner homeland and the reverse was never in the plan.

Are they any folks who ever close to ending it with spouse after extended waiting ? Any regrets for going through or not going through with it ?

Please spare the judgements of the nature of "this is the true test of marriage", "if you were truly in love, this wouldn't happen" yada yada yada.

During those 2.5 years were you able to see each other at all? Are you able to travel to petitioner's country for period of time or vice versa once or a couple times  a year?  Just trying to think ways to ease the pain of absence...

RoC Timeline:

  1. 12/01/2023 - Application sent to Tempe, AZ lockbox
  2. 12/06/2023 - Application received by USCIS
  3. 12/12/2023 - Check cashed by USCIS
  4. 12/22/2023 - I-797C notice recieved giving access to 48 months extension letter online.
