I-94 was taken at AOS interview

Our interview was 3 days ago, and we're still left feeling like we're in the dark, we have to clue what is going since everything happened so quickly....what does the taking of her I-94 mean?

It can mean a possibility of approval.

Were you guys able to submit a police clearance as requested by your adjudicating officer?

Most likely you were approved. But one cannot be 100% sure. If your security clearance is complete, then you're approved. Did the officer stamp your passport?

Typically they take the I-94 when they approve AOS. Did they stamp passport with I-551 stamp?

An LPR does not need the I-94 card, so the interviewing officer may or may not take the I-94 Card.

No they did not stamp her passport, and yes we just mailed the police clearance today! crossing fingers

Three weeks after the AOS interview, my wife received the email saying that her permanent resident status was approved. It will be in the mail! Thanks to VJ for all the helpful tips! Good luck to all, it was well worth the journey!!!!!!!!
