Well, I have savings, but I also have not paid off my house....so wouldn't that be an issue (only showing my bank balance, but not mentioning real estate holdings)?

Since it's OPTIONAL for sponsor's with qualifying income to list and document assets, sure, it's no problem to just list your liquid assets.  They won't consider your primary residence equity anyway, as it does not meet their definition of liquid.

Facts are cheap...knowing how to use them is precious...
