Filing i-865 for joint sponsor after ds-260 submitted, implications

Hi there,

 

My mom has DS-260 in process for a marriage based application. I am a Joint Sponsor and recently had an address change. But I still have full access to my old address (another property).

 

I have changed my address with USCIS (as LPR), but forgot to file I-865. The DS-260 was reviewed once already and asked for more document, which I've submitted and waiting for the approval.

At this point, submitting I-865 while the documents are submitted and are awaiting for the review - would it delay the review of the documents?

I would wait. The I-864 obligations aren't in force until after the immigrant enters the US.
