Congratulations on the baby!

Get Lease or Morgage contracts, utility bills, car loan, car lease, get credit card even if you or your wife are the ones on the bill (just single name) add copy of your credit card if you both use it and just use black marker to remove first few digits, get pictures from all the times together, copies of itinerary from trips that you both went too, bank joint account statements, any membership cards (AAA, gym, costco, BJs, Sam's Club, etc.) Health, life, car insurance, birth certificate for your child, letter from your doctor that you both have the same doctor or letter from a doctor that you take your baby too and that you both attend visits.

Give them as much evidence as you can. If you have what you just have than send all and get the NOA that will extend your GC.

Why?  An attorney would just mail everything in to USCIS after the OP has done the work of gathering the information......and charge thousands of dollars.

I agree. The only time I have ever used a lawyer was initial application for an adjustment of status. I didn't know what's going on and didn't want to mess up, since then I have applied for ROC by myself, and Naturalization by myself. Saved a lot of money by just following instructions and ask questions on VJ.

Most of the information you can find here and a lot of people are very helpful with guidance. Just do what people are telling you, collect all the information, explain in a cover letter what happened, list all the evidence that you have with your application, and just send all that out.

Don't forget to sign and a check with the appropriate amount.

No need for lawyer.

Include more documents of financial co-mingling and joint ownership of anything, including any insurance policies where you list each other, if possible.

I absolutely agree with this... when it pertinent to USCIS, I think VJ family here are more than capable of answering any questions. Good and knowledgeable people still hang in here despite some of them already citizens, just to share their knowledge and experience for us all to learn from.....

Apply for ROC and give the evidence. And don't worry. You won't get deported. People are busy with inauguration and Capitol riots.

They're currently working on checks from the beginning of December. You should join the January 2021 thread and google spreadsheet, or check the December thread to see how things are moving along.
