Before she leaves Qatar,  make sure she gets a criminal report for the time she lived in that country (needed a lot later for the interview but harder to get when out of the country

and for you,  do all our tax returns as you will need to have IRS transcripts for the interview showing adequate income to support her and if K1 to buy health care insurance

and yes ,  all this is down the road but it is best to prepare ahead of time

thanks. we thought about using the rapidvisa in manila PH. when we are on vacation.

you don't need any agency

its pretty much do the work yourself and give all documents to them for the agency to mail in

and they often mess up with some of the information

One year TT for USEM interview. Going back 5 years they have only sporadically asked for financials. I doubt you will have a problem but have the necessary documents in the event you are asked.

Also, there is a sub-forum for the Philippines here on VJ that you should be a part of the conversation. It's a good place to read what others are experiencing which will better prepare you for your interview.

That and take pictures once you meet

Elaborating on this, take pictures of you and her together in the same picture, preferably with a background that is identifiable (a "Welcome to [City]" sign, or a notable landmark such as the Eiffel Tower).

The more of your relationship you document now, the easier time you will have gathering and presenting it if you so choose to go through with the immigration visa process.

👐

Patience......patience.

She will need CURRENT criminal report, one from now means nothing. She'll need one that is up date when you file, not a year prior to when you've met.

I'd worry about meeting before you worry about filing anything.

Why?  That won't make anything faster.  The petition needs to be mailed to the United States anyway.

First things first, meet in person and be 100% sure that you want to marry her.

Until that meeting in 2022, use the waiting time to research and read the guides on this website. No paid service or advice from random internet strangers will substitute doing your own research.

^^^^ Outstanding advice. Relax and read the guides and posts here. Especially in the Philippines regional forum https://www.visajourney.com/forums/forum/129-philippines/.  You are miles ahead of the game because you are asking the right questions well in advance of having to file any paperwork. Good Luck!

Finally done...
