Yes, it has created problems.  But the requirement to meet before petitioning for a fiance visa still stands.

A lot can happen between now and February of 2022.

IT Professional- Retired- Web Site Design, Hardware Maintenance, Compound Pharmacy Software Trainer, On-site go live support, Database Manager, App Designer.

In summary, it took 13 months for approval of the CR-1.  It took 44 months for approval of the I-751.  It took 4 months for approval of the N-400.   It took 172 days from N-400 application to Oath Ceremony.   It took 6 weeks for Passport, then 7 additional weeks for return of wife's Naturalization Certificate..

So this is somebody you have never met and are meeting next year.

 

File what for what, I presume there is something behind your question which I am not seeing.

we have know each other for years as friends after my wife past last year we started having feeling for each other. we wanted to meet sooner but her ofw contract in Qatar is not up till dec2021. So not in person yet

OK so this is somebody you met but more than 2 years ago?

This is a very difficult time, but you are able to meet in Dubai right now, although Qatar may have strict quarantine restrictions upon re-entry. You guys could also meet in Tanzania or Costa Rica if you plan anything this year. I will be planning a 2021 trip with my fiance as restrictions begin to relax worldwide. We are targeting somewhere in June or July as our travel dates. I'm unsure of you schedules and vacation time, but if you are able to go sooner than 2022 I would risk the journey.

we are waiting to meet in manila ph, not in qatar. maybe i didn't say it right. she is a live in-cook and the house she is in, they will not allow any visitors at any time for any reason. so we have to wait wait.

Right.  When you do eventually meet, you'll want to save your boarding passes and make sure to get passport stamps to use as evidence of the meeting.

You just need to meet and see how it goes, nothing to do until you decide if you want to take it further.
