Hi All.

 

My question is - If one writes NVC to withdraw a petition and within 24hrs wrote NVC that one is no longer willing to withdraw the Petition after resolving the issue due to misunderstanding. What happens next? Hope to hear from you.

This petition is currently undergoing necessary administrative processing. You will be notified with further instructions when the processing is complete.

Hopefully you will get luck. My fiance then withdrew our petition at the embassy stage due to misunderstanding and wrote back in less than 8hours to cancel the withdrawal but I was still denied the visa due to that....given us the condition to go get married if we truly resolved it and refile. I hope yours fine

Can I ask you what was the reason told on the withdraw? Like the person told something about scam or something really bad?

@Paula&Johnny It has nothing to do with Scam . I said broke up because he annoyed me  however within 24hrs I rang NVC and was told to fill the inquiry form to state that I overreacted after resolving the issue. The case is at the NVC stage . It has not been sent to the embassy due to the lock down.

Requests to withdraw petitions are generally irrevocable.  May want to have a plan B in place.
