They assume they can just ignore it and stubbornly insist on being given their way without confronting that very hypocrisy. It's actually quite comedic watching them name drop corporations like it gives their methodology any weight of authenticity -- this is the fraudulent cognitive dissonance inducing formula I've described repeatedly. This bad faith approach deserves to crash and burn. So long as there are people who have enough self confidence and an ounce of common sense, a million corporations could try and validate this idiocy and it'll still mean nothing whatsoever.

It has been shifting for some time.  The Democrats have become the Party of the rich and big corporations.  Sure they talk a big game, and they may even pass a few laws to superficially go after these folks/corps, but they will always leave in the loop holes to protect them.

Lol, it's like people don't even know what financial services institutions are really like on the inside. Have any of you worked on Wall Street? What leads is the dollar. These are fundamentally amoral institutions. Smart money says: storming the Capitol is bad, let's make it look like we care because it matters way more to our customers on the whole. They dont really care.

 

All I said is that Morgan Stanley isn't a leftist institution. It's a small c conservative institution. A person can have liberal politics and leave them at the door. And same for conservatives. The finance industry has for the most part little room for institutions with a deliberately liberal or conservative bent. They want to make money. Aligning yourself with one side or the other doesn't maximize earnings. Angry mobs are a bad look.

And yet the corporate donations to the terrorist group BLM have increased tremendously.  I guess they were just trying to buy "woke" points, but maybe they should actually do more research on the organization(s) they are politically supporting.

   Maybe it's time for the right to move on from seeing themselves as the victims of everything. One of the worst things Trump did was pander to that aspect of humanity. It doesn't work, and nobody else is buying in.

Interesting, I personally don't see myself as a victim, but I am not a Leftist.  Now you are right, Trump did latch onto the Dems mantra of creating political victims, and I suppose that is what pisses off Biden and Pelosi and Schumer the most since they feel only they should have the monopoly on that scheme.

Conservative media, talking heads, and fundamentalist funders have been expertly attempting the victim card for a very long time now. Sometimes they don't do it very well, but most of the time it's very successful.
