I think "old Joe" did OK for himself in the primaries. Just because he is not the candidate many on the left hoped for, it does not mean he is unpopular or that the vote was manipulated. He was the best of an uninspiring bunch, and as evidenced by the outcome, obviously a much better choice than Trump.

I don't have an issue with Harris. She seems to be unpopular with many on the right, which is not a surprise to me. It's not going to be detrimental to anything she needs to get done.

As long as the GOP remains detached from reality they will struggle, and it allows the Democrats to remain complacent as well. I would like to see both parties put in a situation where they realize they have to do better for the people than they have been doing. First thing people need to do is quit making excuses and give up the conspiracy theories.

So a pipedream?

Based on the number of people who seem to be focused on excuses and complaining about the other side instead of making themselves better, yeah, probably a pipe dream to expect anything different in our life time.

Career politicians in either Party generally have no desire to make themselves better.  They are only interested in getting enough uninformed voters to keep re-electing them until they either decide to retire or die.

I remember I had a Honors ELPSA (Civics class) in HS with a teacher from NY State. This is right about the time Killary was trying to decide to run for Senate and my civics teacher was trying to explain to me that "She can't run for Senate because she hasn't established residency yet"

Not really sure HS civics class ever covered the Belknap impeachment.

Why isn't he being tried in a Court of Law instead of the current Democrat Kangaroo Court?

Impeachment is the path forward for an errant president. He was president at the time of the insurection.

If what he did was criminal, why not pursue that instead of a purely political partisan process?  I know, the Dems want to completely destroy the GOP, and it might actually work.  Btw, see how easy it is to misspell a word.

Plenty of time for criminal court after that, and no shortage of prosecutors waiting.

Are they all reasonable?
