This doesn't back up your claim, President Obama insisted things be done "by the book" as memorialized in the Rice email.  How is that undermining?

Wow, it's like full on fantasy land here.

Trump has been impeached and he probably won't get convicted, but who knows. Nobody from former administrations is going to get impeached. If people are asking questions about whether an incumbent president who has been impeached is actually capable of being convicted a few days or weeks after he has left office, and whether that's even constitutional, do you really think an impeachment of Obama or Biden or Hillary (as Sec of State she could have been impeached) would fly?

I've got a migraine at the moment and this is distracting me from the pain. Let's impeach James Buchanan while we're at it, he was a terrible president too.

They left impeachment for incompetency out of the articles by design. Fortunately I guess, or we'd have seen a lot more impeachments, and in this specific instance, we would need to have the thread title changed to sixth or seventh impeachment of Donald Trump.

I'm greatly disappointed in 4 years of made up scandals that they could only concoct two failed impeachments. I'm still hoping against the odds they can impeach him a few more times before the 20th.

OK, that was funny. I'm actually hoping not to hear anything else about impeachment for the rest of my lifetime.

Get your stories straight guys. It's hard to have a hypothetical discussion if we can't even agree on the hypothesis.

No hypothesis, President Obama did not , with Biden, plot to overthrow the incoming administration.

The hypothetical question being could Biden be impeached before taking office, to which the hypothetical answer is yes that is possible if he committed an impeachable act as vice president. I don't like to discourage anyone from dreaming big, but I don't think there was any point in that discussion being extended into real life scenarios.

Oh, well that  is well above my theoretical pay grade. If a Q'uanoner congresspeople wants to bring articles of impeachment, I guess that is up to them, I am unsure what that will prove.

I guess if one are trying to prove that our criminal law is not really a pillar, one could attempt to make a citizen's arrest of random strangers with no cause, but that reflects more on the person attempting random arrests and not on the body of laws that govern us.
