Just when I thought nothing could get WORSE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My husband GOT THE VISA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Today 930am.. DHL delivered it!!!!!!!

I am still in shock... my palms have been sweating ever since!!

he called me.. "Why didnt you answer my text... where are you what are you doing..." giving me a hard time.. Then he played the "Guess What" game that we play together.. After the 5th guess what.. (and me getting a Little tired of the game at 8 in the morning! :whistle: ) he was like... "i got the visa"

I was like NO.. DOnt lie.. thats not fair.. "No honey.. I'm serious.. " your serious?? YOUR SERIOUS?!!!! alhamdulillah alhamdulillah .. and then I started Bawling!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and all of this in the parking lot of my kids school!!

He just started laughing.. telling me how much he loved me.. and tried to calm me down..

AND he was on his way to go to the travel agent... And of course.. It was CLOSED!!!!!!!!!

but ALHAMDULILLAH for Everything!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I know how you feel - today I was sitting thinking and came to a conclusion that my papers can still take a while still seeing that there are problems at the VSC so I decided I want to go visit my hubby in the US (I'm from South Africa)!!!

He said he just needs the dates and he was off to get the tickets!!!!! After 5 long months of not seeing him I will see him in 2 weeks. And then it is back to the waiting - Who cares about that for now I cant think right now!!!!!!!!!!! :dance:

Congratulation to both of YOU! Hope he gets here soon and you live a long and happy life together.

I have come to the conclusion that going thru the visa process is similar to pregnancy, without the stretch marks. After you hear the words" I got the visa", it no longer seems to matter how long you have waited, what worries you had, the fears and sorrows of what would happen next. As soon as you hold that big bundle of JOY in your arms, all of the memories of those things just vanish out the window.

For all of us still waiting, I hope the waiting is over soon!!

My life has been blessed with the love of 4 of the sweetest men in the world. James, Jonathan, Nicolas, and Islam, my sons and my S/O.
