Well, Paul and I have been discussing weddings/dates so on and so forth... Do you think the 3rd July would be a feasible date for the wedding? Given the fact that the thinggy is winging its way to Delhi already? July the 3rd makes it a year since we met in the flesh so to speak :luv:

Am getting a dress made that looks and feels more bridal... in fact this is the pattern... and what I plan to wear on my head... have asked the Gypsy to shop for a bustier (would love to be a fly on the wall when he does that) and to mail it to me coz I need to have the wretched thing on for fittings :hehe:

Paul and I met on the Bazaar on the 14th January (he joined my progressive rock forum that day)

July 3rd he flew to England to meet me

We fell in love while he drove all over the place coz I cannot read maps (we were supposed to go to Ingleton - but touched Darlington 4 times, Pierce Bridge 6 times, Scotch Corner twice and Bernard Castle twice and we never did make it to Ingleton)

It has been so long and so much has happened in between...

Arrived in Houston on October 29th 2006

Married 17th November 2006

Lost my father 8th January 2007 (all dates are a blur after this)

I had a look on the New Delhi info here on VJ (http://www.visajourney.com/consulates/index.php?ctry=India&cty=Delhi) and it says on there waiting time can be 2.5 to 3 months for an interview! So I would think July would definitely be pushing it there. Looking on the timelines it varies wildly and I didn't see a lot of timelines reported. I would definitely be careful about the July 3rd date, it would be awful to miss it and add that much more stress! Best of luck to you! :)

Us too  Save the heartache and wait! We had even semi scheduled it when we got the interview date but then we were delayed by hurricane and then by 221g...2 months altogether...you never know...don't risk it

The dress and headpiece are lovely (F)

Anita,

I love the dress and head peice of flowers. I would say that to be careful to schedule something that cannot be moved or put down money that can be lost. Never know how things will play out until your visa is in your hand.

anita ...

i know you're excited and encouraged at the recent action with your petition, but don't put the cart before the horse. there is no way that anyone here should advise you on the date of your wedding ... the only advice to give is: wait! the same exact thing that you've already been doing.

why stress yourself out? i think you've had enough of that already. i would plan what you want to wear and buy that. i think you will be lucky to have your interview by july!!

of course, this is your decision!! best of luck with everything!!

(((((((((((anita)))))))))))))))) the dress is gorgeous and you will look stunning in it! I hope you and Paul hear something soon. I know it's hard not to set some sort of date, Joel and I haven't been able to do that either. I do have a dress in mind though ;)
