were planning on moving to the philippines as soon as he retired,is this a good idea or bad? how does this work? should we wait till i will be a US citizen so we didnt need a visa for me to be able to get back to USA anytime we want? as what ive heard it would be ok to have a dual citizenship in the Philippines,but am not sure how it works.does anybody here know how exactly this work? thanks in advance...

International Travel

A Permanent Resident of the United States can travel freely outside of the US. A passport from the country of citizenship is normally all that is needed. To reenter the US a Permanent Resident normally needs to present the green card (Permanent Resident Card, Form I-551) for readmission. A reentry permit is needed for reentry for trips greater than one year but less than two years in duration.
