Hello everyone I really need your help. My question is that I have an American citizenship but my boyfriend doesn’t and one day if we get married and want to go in the USA to live there when he can get an American citizenship or can he come with me without it? Because that’s our plan for the next 2 years but we really don’t know if he can come with me! Thank you.

If you guys get married first, your only option will be a spousal visa, which takes about a year to obtain. He can enter the US with that and he'll be a green card holder. He has to live in the US and follow some other rules. After 3 years of being a green card holder and if he's still married to you and meets other requirements, hr can apply for citizenship. It is a long process. There is no way he can become a citizen before moving to the US. He must obtain a visa and move here first.

start with what u need to know

you will need to show an established US residency for yourself

you need to have enough US income to support the 125 % poverty income guidelines if married or 100% if fiancee visa

you need to have been filing US tax returns on your income (USCIS will ask for last 3 years of IRS transcripts) /several countries have a tax treaty with USA so you may have tax exemption on foreign income but no country named here so you need to check it yourself at the following  site

https://www.irs.gov/businesses/international-businesses/united-states-income-tax-treaties-a-to-z

if you can prove US residency,  US income and following US tax returns ,  then think about filing for him to join you here on either a K1 (fiancee visa) or CR1 (spouse visa)
