I’ve seen some previous mentions of this type of question but not much detail on wording or what type of letter...we’re at NVC stage proving to re-establish domicile. USC Currently living in the U.K. with my family. We will be living with my USC father upon arrival and he is writing up a letter to confirm this. Could anyone help in terms of the type of wording we will need to use? Can it be just like a statement signed by him or does it need to be like a lease agreement? Many thanks 😊

I believe a formal lease is more effective, rather than just a letter.  We are planning to rent-to-own a family property that my Mother in Law owns, and we did up a formal lease agreement on Legalzoom, which is quite comprehensive.  It has dates of possession (pending visa approval), rent amount, info about pets, renovations, etc etc.  We have a clause at the end which explains that the agreement will commence upon our arrival, whenever that happens!

What visa? Work on your profile and timeline because that would be helpful (at a glance) to people answering your posts.

Those interviewing in London this year have not been asked much about domicile at their interview. A statement from Dad ought to do it. In the past, some have provided email correspondence with schools asking about enrolling kids or with apartment locators...not much has ever been needed for London (going back through 10 years of memory). I wouldn’t panic or lose sleep over it.
