Where do you find your DOS# !

After paying the fee ? Do they send your green card packet?

You posted in the k1 forum and it makes no sense in that context.   You need to be more specific.

YMMV

What visa category did you apply for?

If you mean the DOS case ID needed for the immigrant fee payment, check this -- https://www.uscis.gov/forms/filing-fees/uscis-immigrant-fee/immigrant-fee-payment-tips-on-finding-your-a-number-and-dos-case-id

Never had interview ! But sent this on the email acct we just set up !

It is apparent you don't yet understand the process.   Since you have never had a visa interview then you are still not in the USA?  Did you just submit the petition?

You are a long ways away from the green card.

YMMV

Sorry it’s not clear ! Waiting for our interview for k1 visa ! They sent us a letter to open a account

on line to communicate ! Their asking for a number we have . Asking for a dos # to file and pay fee of 220 immigrant . I have no dos # at all and I can’t find it at all.

Ignore this.   A k1 doesn't pay an immigrant fee

If you are applying for K1, that instruction to pay for immigrant fee does not apply to you.  Do NOT pay $220!  That is not how you get a green card for K1 visa holders.  (Hint: You need to pay much more than $220 and only after you get married in the US.)

Again we are waiting for green card interview !
they sent this today in our online acct ! Saying they need a number which I have and a dos number which I have never seen !

If you are a k1 applicant you are waiting for a visa interview and NOT a greencard interview.   Greencard interviews for k1s  occur INSIDE the USA.

K1 visa interview is NOT an interview to get a green card.  After a K1 interview, all you get is a K1 visa.  You need to be in the US, already married, and filed for adjustment of status (which costs much more than $220) to get a green card.

Then you are Adjustment of Status. Regardless, you still don't pay this immigrant fee..

Proper terminology is key

Okay ! But isn’t the same as waiting for green card interview ?
maybe I am wrong about it !

Sure, but you still don't pay any immigrant fee.

You posted in k1 forum.   You are NOT a k1 applicant anymore.   You are adjustment of status and there is an adjustment of status forum that would have been better place to ask.

YMMV
