  Trump lost by millions of votes, but the message from Trump and his supporters for the last two months has been that nobody else's vote matters except the people who voted for Trump. A smarter person would have realized, maybe, not to go to a march whose intent is to stop the legitimately elected president from being affirmed if you actually need the people who legitimately cast votes for that newly elected president to come support your business.

It still cracks me up that people think the bulk of people who align with the leftish end of the political spectrum are Marxists and socialists. I'm a capitalist! But I also have room in my belief system for a critique of capitalism and its excesses, and believe untrammeled capitalism is bad for humans. Nuance seems like a dying art.
