I am not sure how Capitol police were not ready for this situation. This journalist outlined maps and tactics being published in thedonald.win two days before the rally.

The thing though is that they aren't just banning "racists" but anyone else they are associating with him. They have banned many well known people just because they have worked hard to get Trump reelected like the #walkaway campaign

Where do the poor closet racists go next?

Oh they got plenty of options. Afterall the internet is a place of opportunity. I'd say perhaps they should pull themselves up by their bootstraps, armbands, Auschwitz sweatshirts.. ya know whatever is in the latest nazi fashion and make some sort of "safe space" where they can have their own TOS.

Well yeah, that's what happens when you allow hate speech to propagate. It doesn't even take a lot for that type of thing to take over, but maybe if Parler had done a better job of keeping that out, they wouldn't have run afoul of everyone else's terms of service agreements. I'm not sure they were ever willing to do that.

So we once again learn the lesson, free speech doesn't absolve you from the consequences of free speech.

Shopify is shutting that stuff down too.

Their host is joining the deplatform attempt? This was tried on Gab as well. How did that work out? 🙂

Yes, they are pulling hosting effective tomorrow. Don't know and don't care about Gab. If they found a new host that would keep them or created their own network, more power to them. A host is under no obligation to keep something they don't want or won't abide by the rules.

But what exactly are you implying hate speech? Because that can mean different things to different people. The obvious course of hate speech against any race, ethnic, or religious group is obviously hate speech and shouldn't be allowed. But I have seen people lately being called violent online simply for having an opinion. Heck, Jimmy Dore got called out by AOC because supposedly his words about her on #Forcethevote somehow equates to violence. Do you know how many times I get called a racist or a xenophobe simply for spouting out the laws of immigration on reddit or fb?

Oddly enough, I never get called a racist or xenophobe.

I don't know that, but I know I've never been called racist for talking about immigration or immigration law, and I used to talk about it a lot.

  Might it be your delivery?

Of course but you are letting the big tech be bigger than our government. Not to mention this flies in the face of Section 230 itself. So if they are wanting to go against Section 230 then they can suffer the consequences.

Again... I love how nobody has done anything about the groups calling for violence, genocide, rioting, or anything else because it fits their agenda.

For a while it seemed like some people were very enthusiastic about the right of a cake baker to not bake gay cakes. Ya know, their shop, their rules or whatever... and there was this lengthy court thingy about it.. I could have sworn it all got settled.. Now it seems like a company has to be forced to host toilet cesspools when it just doesn't fit with their ideals because someone needs a safe space and can't be bothered to build their own.
