My fiance was in Iraq last Sept 2005 to October 2006 (for his military assignment). And I noticed that his total gross income on 2006 ITR and W-2 is just playing around $5K. Which (methinks) means that it is his only total income from November to December (2006).. His income from the time he was in Iraq was not included.

But I also have his 2005 and 2004 ITRs & W-2s that showed his actual gross income..

Am I going to have a problem with this? What should we do? Help!

Thank you in advance!

Julie

Where are the tax returns or tax transcripts? What do they say about his total 2006 income?

His copy of tax return is already in my hands.. It states his total 2006 income for a total of ONLY (around) $5K.. Which methinks that they did not have the record of his salary while he was in Iraq for 1year.
