E-2 status renewal without attorney

Hello,

I would like your opinion regarding filing an E-2 status renewal without using the services of an attorney.

The beneficiary will be renewing E-2 status for a second time. (Initial status was B-2, then changed status to E-2 using premium processing, then renewed E-2 status once also using premium processing).

This time, he will not be using premium processing, but we are unsure if it is critical to employ the services of an attorney or not. In other words, do you think the use of an attorney makes the case more credible or convincing to US CIS as opposed to filing on one's own?

Thank you.

If you have a strong easily approvable case can be done yourself.

We have renewed our E-2 Visas for 2 business partners ourselves.  You do not need to spend money on lawyers.  The renewal process is about just maintaining current data on your enterprise on a binder.
