Congratulations,

I just wanted to ask can you remember when the status of your visa was changed from “At NVC” to “In transit” or “Ready”?

Many thanks,

Thank you!

The status was changed in the day that I got my IL not exactly in the same hour because I went to check CEAC after IL mail, case was still at NVC but then after 3 hours I went back again and it says that my case is currently at: Pristina. US embassy in Pristina

It doesn't say ready.

I was looking for something informative in regards to VISA Class CR1. and this is the best platform so far I have ever seen.

Many Congratulation to Every one who got their letters.

I saw @Usman784 comment, that he got his IL yesterday while he got DQ on June 1st 2020. I am so glad for you.

I figured that people get their letters on Tuesdays of 2nd or 3rd week of the month.

I got my DQ on June 18th , 2020. When should I expect my IL, in March or April?

I think that you may get your IL in February . they start sending ILs in the middle of the month so there is a chance that u would get something till the end of feb. But if not then  you would have to wait until mid of march.

Remember this community looks out to us so its binding on us to reply back if we get our ILs so that to give an overview to the ones waiting. So if u get your IL remember to come back and post here.

thank You

Regards

Guys can anyone accompany to the embassy . Not for the interview but just remain in the waiting area with the applicant.

If anyone of u have. Any information about that , I am looking forward to go with my wife she is the practitioner.

So can she go and just stay in the W8ing area.

I think they could wait in lobby, but due to COVID-19, I do not know if they allow anymore. Buti if someone has recently went in with spouse then they can better tell.

On the other hand going in during the interview has mixed impacts.

I know two cases personally. 2 sisters applied for their spouses.

1 went in with her few months old baby, which turned out very positive. it took them around 10 minutes in interview room and they got the VISA right away.

while the other sister went in, Allah knows what, but they made a big issue for that. Now its been almost 3 years and their case is still pending.

Sharing it here because I think it is the best place to share such experiences as people follow and look for the answers here.

I have an other question. :D So I see that there is like 15-20 days gap from the day you receive your interview Letter till your actual Interview date.

How many days does it take to get results of your medical examination which is suppose to be done before interview .

It takes 4-5 working days for them to prepare your medical result, if you scheduled your medical they tell you this in the mail.

So usually the IL will give you roughly a month before the interview date. I would recommend schedule your medical exam ASAP after you receive IL. Depending on the location they may not give you anything except the XRay report the rest of the results they send electronically to the embassy. That was the case in Karachi.

Right Right.. I guess it depends on the embassy/counselor that how they want to process it. sometimes they give you and sometimes they send it to embassy.
Anyhow Thankyou
