Schengen ban - Can I enter the US via Aruba?

Hi guys

 

wondering if you could advise. I am from Ireland and my fiancé is American. We are waiting on the k-1 visa which is currently at the Dublin embassy and waiting on interview. However we are in full lockdown and interview will likely be months from now. I wanted to visit my fiancé but with the Schengen ban, I was thinking of going to Aruba for 2 weeks, then flying into America. I would of course bring as much evidence as I can, to prove I am returning home again. Is Aruba ok to spend 14 days so that I can get into the US? Or is there any restrictions that you guys know about? If so, any other country recommendations to enter through?

As far as I know, Aruba is not under travel restrictions.

I’d recommend flying through Turkey and staying in Istanbul for 2 weeks. It’ll be cheaper (living expenses) plus even though Turkey introduces curfews and limitations here and there, they do not apply to tourists. 

another option would be Mexico but I’m not too familiar with the situation there.
