Naturalization after 3 years (US spouse): include 5 or 3 years of travel/residential history?

Good afternoon.

I've looked in the archives for the answer to this question and can't find it (but if there's a link, please send!).

 

We are starting a naturalization process (me, US citizen spouse; Permanent resident spouse who went from CR to PR in October) and were advised to get this started now, since we're eligible after 3 years of residency in the U.S. (rather than the traditional 5).

 

When filling out the N-400, it asks for 5 year travel history outside the US and 5 year residential history. If my spouse has only been in the US and a Resident for 3 years, should we be filling out the history for 5 years or for 3?

I filled out mine starting with the date I entered the U.S. with the K1 visa.
