Hi everyone

I know I asked before but I submitted the required docs to NVC yesterday.  I just checked my messages in CEAC and it says I’m documentarily qualifiedD. Has anyone else gotten qualified in one day? I’m just worried that it might be a mistake.

thanks

Congrats! My guess is this isn't a mistake. They could have based the review on your priority date, which is sometime Dec 2019. But then, I'm just guessing.  And...

This is very rare, but it is not the first time for a fast acceptance.  Good luck.  May the rest of your journey be speedy also.

Thanks everyone. My guess is that the speedy process is due to the covid crisis. My I-130 was submitted in December 2019 was approved in May. At that time all travel and anything requiring to be in person was pretty much nonexistent. So I’m thinking that uscis was shelving interviews/tests, tourist and work visas and were working on cr1 and similar visas which normally take backseat to everything else.
My wife and I were taking our time on getting the docs ready for nvc and we submitted on Monday then getting qualified day after

im thinking, if this isn’t a mistake, that there are a lot more people getting speedy case processing due to covid pandemic

I don't think Covid has increased the speed of processing anywhere.

Wow. Very rare. What country?

Yes and no for DC in one day.  Our Lawyer uploaded everything, for my Wife's CR1 and 2 daughters Cr2's.  got E-mail from NVC later that day.  Almost all documents approved for the wife's, except the Police Clearance from Tajikistan was rejected, it was from the regional office not the capital.  the next mornig got Emails stating the CR2's were "DC."

We got the correct Police clearance Our lawyer uploaded it late on Dec. 28th and haven't heard anything since.

Not sure if this counts, but NVC had requested I re-submit some documents. This was when COVID had just started. I was DQd within hours on the same day I resubmitted. Normal waiting time is usually up to another 90 days for a review. I also assumed it was because of COVID.
