CR-1 change address for Green Card

Hello all - My wife will be arriving the US on a CR-1 visa in a few weeks. I have moved recently so the address she has on file with the embassy in Manila is no longer current. Does anyone know how I can change the address to ensure her Green Card gets delivered. I tried online on the USCIS website but it seems you can only change it there prior to visa issuance. Any insights would be greatly appreciated.

She needs to inform the authorities at POE.  Forward you mail at USPS.

IT Professional- Retired- Web Site Design, Hardware Maintenance, Compound Pharmacy Software Trainer, On-site go live support, Database Manager, App Designer.

In summary, it took 13 months for approval of the CR-1.  It took 44 months for approval of the I-751.  It took 4 months for approval of the N-400.   It took 172 days from N-400 application to Oath Ceremony.   It took 6 weeks for Passport, then 7 additional weeks for return of wife's Naturalization Certificate..

Like above said you need to tell the officer at POE about your new address. Like me back in 2017, me and my husband arrived in US, and the POE officer asked me if the address are the same and I said NO ma’am, so she asked my New Address and she said your GC will be mailed to your New Address. That’s it as simple as that. Have a safe flight to your wife and stay safe.  Happy New Year!
