I don't actually have that ability. I would if I could. And I'd personally have no problem with my tax dollars being spent on a prosecution of this president. Hey, the Mueller investigation turned a profit, maybe this one could too.

 

My point though was that you were asking @laylalex where she'd gotten "cool" from, and I was just pointing out that you never said it was cool, but that you didn't care.

Rep. Emanuel Cleaver, D-Mo., altered the traditional ending of "amen" by saying "Amen and awoman" as he delivered the opening prayer for the 117th Congress on Sunday -- raising eyebrows.

The video was posted online and he was criticized by other lawmakers who said he was wrong to attempt to assign gender to the word "amen."

Rep. Guy Reschenthaler, R-Pa., took to Twitter to note that the word amen is "Latin for ‘so be it.’"

All you can do is shake your head at the stupidity of social justice, and the people who cater to it. 

 

Just as embarrassing is that this is the kind of petty contrived stuff that dominates public discourse. It really does make you wonder sometimes how the US still functions. Literally everything now has to be contentious.

Most are just like this. The topic is just relaying what was at the top of headlines and what dominated the public discourse over the weekend.  

 

Petty and contrived is not only the media for giving it any attention, and public for furthering it, but the fact that it was done deliberately in Congress to kick it all off. The latter is precisely the contrived part that I draw attention to -- the idiotic SJW stuff is just one of the daily vehicles used to drive stagnation of the public discourse, another major one is the "reaction". It's done this way by design. No public body does this with good intent.
