Okay, I add you to list of stand-ins for my dad when I'm on VJ. So many road trips with my dad playing Allman Bros. on the cassette player...  Pretty sure that the reason why we got the stereo replaced on that car and a CD player installed was because either an Allman Bros. or Creedence tape got stuck in there. To be fair, my mom's taste in music wasn't that much better. So much Carole King and Carly Simon. Oh, and she randomly really liked Van Halen? She was really upset when Eddie Van Halen died.

The whole election "fraud" thing is like this. Even if people won't believe all the evidence in front of them, why (as you say) does the entire Georgia Republican party just go deep state for Biden? Why is the Presidential race rigged, but nobody has a problem with the Republican House and Senate wins (which were on the same ballots)? Why didn't the right-wing Supreme Court even hear the Texas case? Where did the kraken go? It's just silly.

I mean, why are there states with narrow Republican wins where they're not looking into the legitimacy of the results? (I'm thinking really about North Carolina here.) What about the 3 million undocumented people in California who were supposed to have voted in 2016 -- if this is still a problem, why isn't anyone looking into that? Is it only a problem when it doesn't favor the Republicans?

President Trump urged fellow Republican Brad Raffensperger, the Georgia secretary of state, to “find” enough votes to overturn his defeat in an extraordinary one-hour phone call Saturday that election experts said raised legal questions.
The Washington Post obtained a recording of the conversation in which Trump alternately berated Raffensperger, tried to flatter him, begged him to act and threatened him with vague criminal consequences if the secretary of state refused to pursue his false claims, at one point warning that Raffensperger was taking “a big risk.”
Throughout the call, Raffensperger and his office’s general counsel rejected his assertions, explaining that Trump is relying on debunked conspiracy theories and that President-elect Joe Biden’s 12,779-vote victory in Georgia was fair and accurate.
Trump dismissed their arguments.
“The people of Georgia are angry, the people in the country are angry,” he said. “And there’s nothing wrong with saying, you know, um, that you’ve recalculated.”
Raffensperger responded: “Well, Mr. President, the challenge that you have is, the data you have is wrong.”

I could quibble with your threshold for "more erratic and embarrassing" but I don't understand why more of his supporters aren't of your ilk. Support his policies, dislike his behavior, wishing he'd just shut the hell up and govern, I can totally understand that. Going through contortions that would make a circus acrobat go "damn" to justify why these behaviors are totally normal is where I lose the thread.

ATLANTA — A recorded one-hour discussion between President Donald Trump and Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger will now be heading to the courts, according to Georgia's Republican Party chairman.

Hours after the Washington Post broke the story of a call where Trump is heard pressuring the state election head to "recalculate" the votes, Republican Party chair David Shafer said the president plans to sue.

What exactly is Trump trying to "settle"? What exactly is he going to sue for? This is so dumb. Being a winner means being graceful in defeat.
