As of today (23 Feb 2021) the status updated to "Case Is Being Actively Reviewed By USCIS".

Case was approved with a NOA2 date of 02/23/2021. PD was 12/01/2020. I have updated my timeline. Good luck, all.

Filed online on December 11, 2020, NOA1 same day

Approved March 1, 2021

BTW I never received any email about NOA1 or NOA2, but since I filed online, I had the receipt number so was checking at USCIS website often for status.

Anyone knows what the NVC procedure is, will they send email or send NVC case number by postal mail? How do they contact the beneficiary, through email or or the overseas postal address?

Thanks and good luck to you all. This forum was very useful.

NVC sent an email to both of us (petitioner and beneficiary), to the addresses provided on the I-130 and I-130A. This email arrived on 2/27, the same day that USCIS says the case was sent to the Department of State.

Congratulations! Which service center were you assigned to and did you request expedite?

How come you guys are getting approved so fast? Are you these applications by permanent residents for their spouses? Because I filed in December 9th 2020 and haven't received any other updates other than that the file is being actively reviewed ☹☹☹

Nebraska. We did not request to expedite. It looks like several people applied in Nebraska are getting approvals in 80-120 days.

Not sure if online filing helped, because I uploaded the files with proper names so it would be easy for them to click and review.

That’s a great news for all that ended up getting Nebraska. I also applied online and was assigned to Nebraska, but when I received a NOA a week later it said Potomac 😣

Same for me! I feel they need to transfer a few from the other Service Centers to Nebraska to give us hopeless Potomac filers a chance!

I don’t think that’s going to happen unfortunately. Nebraska is the fastest one, yet, they are transferring filers from there to the slowest service center for some reason.

Hey Everyone,

I sent my I-130 application in on 12/15/2020.  It was received by the Texas Locked Box on 12/18/2020.

It was assigned to the Nebraska for processing and was receipted on 01/04/2021.

NOA1 was received on 01/09/2021.

03/03/2021 the status was updated to "Actively Processing".

03/04/2021 my I-130 application was approved (as shown through USCIS Status Check).

03/07/2021 case was transferred to NVC for processing.

03/09/2021 NOA2 was received stating that my I-130 application was approved.

Exciting times...  Wishing everyone the best in getting through the immigration process.

Exactly same for me!! Does that mean our cases got transferred to Potmac and they are really slow. I'm following it closely and they are processing April/May 2020 filers whereas Nebraska is already approving Dec 2020 filers. And one more question, Are you USC or green card? I'm wondering if that makes the difference.
