Hi All!

My husband received his 24 month extension and Biometrics appointment letter together on 12/17/21. In Middle Eastern culture , they takes the names of their fathers and forefathers. (Name, dad's name, grandfather's name, etc.), different from my traditional first, middle, last name. So he has 4.

On his Applicant's Information Worksheet (attached with the Biometrics appointment notification), would it be okay to write his 2nd and 3rd name as his middle name, like on his state driver's license?

Hey all,

Quick question - got my interview on 11th Jan and I want to know if my wife has to be there? I know with covid they say to come alone but surely my wife being there would be more beneficial. Anyone had their interview at Chatsworth, CA possibly who can attest to whether they just want you or both of you?

Thanks all,

Thanks all,

If you filed jointly, as seems to be the case, if your wife does not attend, you'll not be approved

I just consulted another lawyer she said same that pending I 751 needs to be approved first then after 3 year you can apply for citizenship

While your I-751 is pending approval, you can file N-400 for citizenship when you are eligible.  However, your petition for N-400 will not be approved unless your I-751 is approved first.   In some circumstances, USCIS will conduct combo interview of both I-751 and N-400 on the same date but your I-751 ROC must be lifted before they approve you for citizenship.

It may be what your lawyer meant but it sure came out weird.  Absolutely, go ahead and file the N-400 while you wait.

Hi  everyone,

Does anyone actually know how they process the cases? Does it go ny case number or just random?  I checked a few cases numbers before mine and they have been approved etc and was wondering if mine would be close.
