How do I know when I can apply for the N-400?

To determine your 90-day early filing date, begin by identifying your 5-year or 3-year date as a permanent resident. For example, if the date on your Permanent Resident Card says “July 4, 2013,” you meet the 5-year permanent resident requirement on July 4, 2018.

For my wife the green card date is Feb 9, 2019. She meets 3 years at Feb 9, 2022. 90 days before is November 11, 2021.

I didn’t file the I-751 early as possible, so my N-400 date may be earlier than most of the people this thread. I could have sent I-751 in November 2020 but we waited. (We were moving Dec 2020, USCIS doesn’t handle change of address very well so we sent after we moved)

So feeling a bit on the lucky side here. I went from Ready to Schedule Interview on Nov 10th and today it actually got scheduled. Think that's the quickest turn around I have seen. I will know when my interview is when I get the notice that is coming to me in the mail now apparently. I was going to file my N400 this month too but may wait to see when my interview date is and get it done after if soon. Hope the interview is not scheduled for when I actually go back to the UK this Christmas.

Using the calculator https://www.uscis.gov/forms/uscis-early-filing-calculator

You enter the 3 year anniversary of green card, so I put 04/04/2022. It says you can file after January 4 2022.

😲

Do you know which office they transferred you to? And what’s your original office?

No, they are mailing a notice so need to wait for that.

This seems strange. I thought NBC was the slowest processing center.  What is your current case status. EAC NJ filer as well.
