I-751 January 2021 Filers

Hey all! just a tip if you need it .

 

I have researched and USCIS prefers IRS tax transcripts and it is a much stronger evidence than just tax returns.

I filed 1/4/2021 and I was wondering has anyone else who filed prior to this date received their biometrics and what was the timeline?

Also my Permanent residence card expires 4/1/21 and I was wondering does USCIS send a permission to travel while this application is being processed?

I was wondering are you filling out the paper application and mailing it or are you filling out the online application and just mailing in the evidence?

I don't think I-751 is online application. AFAIK it's only paper application and you have to mail everything (fee, application, evidence) in.

Check the "Form Details" section, which states: "You must complete all sections of your form.  We may reject your form if you leave a field blank.  Read the form instructions for information on completing fields when your answer is "zero" or "not applicable (N/A)".

 

So, no, don't leave blank space.

My lawyer asked me to give them transcript they no longer accepting tax returns

You're in for a long wait before de biometrics, right now it takes 4 to 6 week just to get the check cash and add a coupe extra days to receive the NOA witch works as your 18 months extension letter. This letter combined with your expired GC allows you to travel out of the country.

Finally sent the package today.
Filing window opened - 01/04/2021
Package sent - 01/08/2021 via UPS

Looking at other previous month's trends, I'm guessing the best case scenario would be 7-8 weeks till I see anything(check cashed etc.) on the case. Keeping my fingers crossed now.

Anyone who has filed this month, please update it here in the spreadsheet. The spreadsheet has links to the previous months sheets and it gives all of us a good picture of what's happening with regard to time it is taking for processing. Thanks!
