Good news is that somebody from October filers already got their 10 year green card today. And there was somebody who got approved on Thursday.
I will also copy what somebody wrote there because I think it is interesting to know.

This is why:

During this session, the speakers explained the circumstances under which Forms N-400 and I-751 may be pending concurrently, clarified USCIS’ current processes when handling and adjudicating these concurrently pending forms, and allowed stakeholders to share their experiences with this process. For example, the speakers confirmed that I-751 receipt numbers with the prefix MSC are routed for interview scheduling; receipt numbers that do not contain the MSC prefix (e.g., EAC, VSC, LIN, etc.) are routed to the appropriate service center for an interview waiver determination. Does it mean that they don't  base the waiver for the interview  according to the evidences you sent but the receipt  number?

The way I understand it, you get the receipt number based on the evidence. I guess somebody in Arizona office makes that call, where to send the applications off to.

I read this article few weeks ago,  but my concern was at what time do they assign you a receipt number? My understanding was once the associate open your envelope,  they do a quick check on your file then they accept or reject it.

Hopefully they waive all our interview.  This process is super stressful

Yes, I wish somebody could explain the process in detail! My guess is that the application packet is looked at briefly in Arizona and they decide where it gets sent, so they basically have to quickly determine who is supposed to get an interview and who does not. At our AOS interview the immigration officer said he spends 15 minutes going through the application and evidence if it is a 'straightforward' case. But I suspect for i-751 application, in Arizona, they look at the application for a few minutes at most and decide where to send it.
I think it will be clear in 2-3 months if USCIS is picking up the pace but I was surprised that some people are getting their 10 year permanent resident card so quickly, within months.

Hello,

I'm posting this in Jan/2021 as well  - my window began late December 28th, 2020. We sent my documents via UPS on 12/28 and UPS says is was delivered the follow day, 12/29.

However, I have not received an e-notification (is that what they call lock box?) or any emails/texts at this point. Do you think that’s because of holidays? Any thoughts?

I’m filing jointly with my spouse. I originally entered the US on an L1-A.

For the groups knowledge here’s what we sent:

  • Form G-1145 (request for e-notification)
  • Form G-1450 (authorizing a credit card transaction for the filing fee of $680.00)
  • Form I-751
  • Copy of my permanent resident card
  • Copy of our apartment rental agreement with joint occupancy
  • Copies of statements from our joint checking and savings accounts
  • Copy of the car insurance policy, showing joint coverage
  • Copy of our renter’s insurance, showing joint coverage
  • Three sworn affidavits by U.S. citizen friends, attesting to our relationship and marriage
  • Photographs of us together on various trips and from our day-to-day life.

Hello! We are in a similar boat—we sent it later (Jan 6th 2021) but never received notification of receipt only USPS tracking told us it arrived. What happened for you/any updates? I’m worried since we filled out G1145 and it’s been more than two weeks.

I sent my my the same day and don't know if they received it at all as we forgot to put a tracker on it.

Have you gotten a e-notice yet?

I wouldn't worry. Like most of the conversations on here, it is taking roughly 4-6 weeks for USCIS to make their way through the incoming applications. You probably won't get an e-notification until after they cash the check or charge your credit card. I'm expecting to see some movement second week of February.

Hi,

I thought the IRS tax transcript does not show the full name ( firs & last name). How can this be better in this case?  maybe submit both?

you are 100% correct they dont show it fully.I really hope they accept my transcripts however because the name on the IRS transcript for me shows clearly that it is my husband and I who filed it although the names are abbreviated a bit.this cant be much of an issue. especially when they have those years of return that I previously sent to them when applying for AOS

this was such an interesting article thanks for sharing. I am seriously hoping for all of us to get through this process as quickly as possible. Im glad there are people out there who are getting their interviews waived and finally over with this whole thing.

Not sure if this happened to anyone... but I sent my package recently and then today noticed that the package got rejected.

I'm wondering if it's because shippo automatically generated the "-1200" after the main part of the zip code?

I guess it's a lesson learned and a heads up to anyone who's using one of these platforms!

So I ship around twenty parcels a day for my small business. The problem was certainly NOT the extra four digits - those extra four digits are actually the complete and full zip-code for US. USPS autofills it even when you buy postage through them.

That being said, I am not sure why it got rejected. I would recommend using Priority Mail with delivery confirmation next time - that way you will have a receipt and a notice that someone accepted your package.

I always used UPS with delivery signature for every USCIS package I ever sent. It's just safer for my records that way. I hope you will find out what the matter was.
